What a Great way to spend Mother's Day.
One of my favorite places to visit...
Cape May, New Jersey.

If I had to choose one word to describe it. I think it would have to be quaint!

One thing I did notice, had changed since the last time I'd visited, was the parking meters. I guess eventually most things have to keep up with modern technology.
What to do first??
The skies were blue, with a chill in the air, but the warm sun kept it comfortable!
As you can see the wind was blowing the water in the fountain, spraying onto the sidewalk
We decided to eat first, we wanted to sit outside at a cafe. But with the wind, the enclosure seemed to be the best decision, as we could still see out into the courtyard
We choose The Cape May Fish Market
Waiting for our food to arrive gave us the opportunity to create a few memories of the day with pictures!
My daughter and my husband treated me to a day of relaxation and fun!

Kristen (my daughter) and Me

Kristen and John
(my daughter and husband)

My lunch was delicious, I ordered the Salmon sandwich
Trolleys and bikes seemed to be everywhere,

and lets not forget the horse drawn carriages!

Small restaurants and shops were tucked into every nook and corner

How appropriate!
Just the place for lingering a day or two!
After enjoying our lunch and browsing the shops. We strolled down the streets admiring the Gingerbread adorned homes and the quaintness of the bed and breakfasts

The colors of the homes and the flowers were so vibrant!

This one especially caught our eye.

Notice the inside of the top of the porch upstairs

I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful day with my husband and daughter.
I thank them so much for making it so special!
We're already planning another day there with my son and his girlfriend, my daughter and her husband and my mom, the whole family, everyone who couldn't be there.
Can you ever get enough of Cape May? (I don't think so!)
Please tell us about your favorite part of Cape May? Or a great memory from there? Or just what you think of Cape May...Just click on the comment button and leave a comment. Thanks!
