Our Daughter's Wedding

Our daughter, Kristen Ashley
on her Wedding Day

It's been such a busy and fun summer planning our daughter's Bridal shower and wedding, and a very busy month since the end of September. Our daughter's wedding was September 26th, then the week after the wedding, I prepared our Christmas Preview for the Big Fall Festival, which was the following Saturday, then straight into getting the store decorated for Christmas and designing a new website for our store (www.thehopechestonline.com)
I am happy to say the wedding was beautiful,
the website is coming along nicely, (you can access our blog and facebook fan page right from the website)
and the store is ready for Christmas!

Many have been asking how our daughter's wedding was, so I decided to post some pics to share. Hope you enjoy them.

It was a such a spectacular day, our daughter was a beautiful bride, and her husband was so handsome, what a great couple!
Thanks to all who asked.

The Fall Festival

Last Saturday, October 3rd, Dutch Neck Village
celebrated The Fall Festival.
The weather was calling for rain, but thankfully the rain held out and the sun actually came out.
We did get an afternoon shower, but the sun was back right after that!

The festival are always a
fun filled day.

The music,

the smell of food in the air,
and people browsing throughout the village.

The mums were gorgeous!!!!

I couldn't resist bringing a few home to decorate my porch, and pumpkins too, of course!

Pumpkins, apples and the gorgeous colors of the leaves changing, reminds me...

Every year, fall becomes my favorite season more and more.

There's starting to get a chill in the air, so perfect for the new Trench jackets and ponchos we just received.

One of the new Vera Bradley patterns is called "Paprika" and fits in perfectly with the fall festival this year!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Fall Festival!

We've already started the
Christmas room.

Christmas is selling already.
So if you really like it, make it yours because you never know if it will be there on your next visit.
Lots of new Christmas arriving constantly,
so stop in often and see what's new!
